Dimension Inx, located in Chicago, Illinois, is a leader in advanced materials for 3D-printing and biofabrication. Having worked together in these fields since 2010, Dimension Inx Co-Founders Prof. Ramille Shah and Dr. Adam Jakus realized that the major technological limitation of the emerging biofabrication industry was not the hardware or software, it was the lack of clinically relevant, scalable, and functional materials. In 2016, they founded Dimension Inx with the goal of revolutionizing healthcare and enabling transformative regenerative technologies through advanced materials design and advanced manufacturing expertise. With its proprietary 3D-Paint and advanced hydrogel material platforms, which include materials such as the osteoregenerative Hyperelastic Bone®, electrogenic 3D-Graphene™ and 3D-Graphite™, universally soft-tissue applicable Fluffy-X™, and much more, Dimension Inx is working with research and industry leaders to develop new hard and soft tissue and organ regenerative products that may have been considered science fiction just a few years ago, but are quickly becoming the future reality of medicine.

Dimension Inx has been a Merz Biomaterials customer since 2016. Since that time, Merz Biomaterials relationship with Dimension Inx has grown from being just another raw material supplier of calcium hydroxyapatite, to their sole supplier of medical grade calcium hydroxyapatite. This transformation occurred due to Merz Biomaterials customer centric focus, expert technical collaboration, and ability to manufacture calcium hydroxyapatite to specific customer specifications. Merz Biomaterials has continued to leverage their medical device experience and performed contract manufacturing of Hyperelastic Bone® on behalf of Dimension Inx.
